German cardinal discusses importance of pro-life issues

In a message for the annual German pro-life march, which will take place in Berlin on September 19, the president of the German Bishops’ Conference said that “as Christians we share the conviction that the inviolable dignity of every human being has its origin in God, the Creator of all life.”

Cardinal Reinhard Marx referred to the importance of addressing physician-assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell research, and the “alarmingly high number of abortions.”
