Papal greetings on 60th anniversary of Hebrew-speaking vicariate in Israel
August 26, 2015
Pope Francis has sent a message of “cordial good wishes” to the Hebrew-speaking Catholics of Israel, on the 60th anniversary of the vicariate established to serve their pastoral needs.
The Pope’s message—addressed to Father David Neuhaus, the Jesuit priest who heads the vicariate—promised prayers that it would be “an ever more effective instrument of dialogue and peace within broader society and a sign of Christ’s love for those most in need.”
