Cardinal praises Taizé Community on 75th anniversary

Cardinal Reinhard Marx, the president of the German Bishops’ Conference, has issued a statement praising the ecumenical monastic Taizé Community as it commemorates its 75th anniversary.
“Ecumenical prayer and witness for God in this society are indispensable,” he said. “Especially for a young generation, Taizé has lost none of its appeal.”
