Prelate highlights similarities between Blessed Paul VI, Pope Francis

Bishop Marcello Semeraro of Albano, the secretary of Pope Francis’s Council of Cardinals, celebrated Mass at the tomb of Blessed Paul VI on August 6, the 37th anniversary of the Pontiff’s death.

In his homily, Bishop Semeraro highlighted similarities between Blessed Paul VI and Pope Francis, including a desire for a “Church that walks,” a poor Church, a Church that journeys to Christ.
