US bishops’ conference grants $4.2M to assist Church in Latin America, Haiti

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Subcommittee on the Church in Latin America has granted over $3.3 million to 228 projects to assist the work of the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean and an additional $920,750 for church reconstruction and other projects in Haiti.
“The top funded countries in this grant cycle are Colombia, Peru, Haiti, Mexico, and Ecuador, the USCCB said in a press release. “Projects include training of lay catechists, youth ministries, evangelization, and communication.”
