Stating that “the Holy Father once again condemns the violence which generates so much suffering,” Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, sent out telegrams of condolence in Pope Francis’s name following terrorist attacks in France, Kuwait, and Tunisia that left more than 60 dead.
The Pontiff prayed for the souls of the victims, as well as for the survivors and the victims’ family members, asking that God grant them “comfort and consolation in their trials.”
