Several hundred thousand people gathered in Rome on June 20 to demonstrate in support of the family and opposition to gender theory and the legal recognition of same-sex unions.
Despite steady rain, a huge crowd packed the piazza in front of the basilica of St. John Lateran, carrying signs that said, “Defend our children’s future” and “The family will save the world.”
The “Family Day” event was organized in opposition to same-sex marriage, gay adoption, and the inclusion of “gender theory” in public education.
