French Muslim leader: empty Christian churches should be converted into mosques

June 16, 2015

A French Muslim leader has suggested that the Christian churches which are no longer in use in France should be converted into mosques.

If Christians are no longer using churches, he said, they should be available for worship by other believers, argued Dalil Boubakeur, the rector of the Grand Mosque in Paris. “It’s the same God,” he said.

The Christian God has nothing in common with the Muslim's idea. Because some South Sea islanders may have thought their local volcano was God does not make it the same as our God just because of its oneness. Our God is goodness and love, and is our Father. Muslims worship an imaginary being that transcends goodness or evil. Muslims have no father but Adam. Tear the Churches down rather than desecrate them. The French might wake up as they see their God-given freedoms disappear.
