June 12, 2015
Pope Francis met on June 12 with Poland’s Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz, for a brief conversation that centered on plans for the papal visit to Poland in 2016 for World Youth Day.
The meeting also allowed for a discussion of international affairs, “with particular emphasis given to Ukraine,” the Vatican noted in a statement released after the visit.
