Pope Francis met on June 5 with Chile’s President Michelle Bachelet.
The 45-minute conversation touched on a number of different topics, including bilateral relations between Chile and the Holy See; the protection of human life; the role of Catholic institutions in Chile; and the political and social problems of South America.
