Venezuelan cardinal calls for dialogue amid unrest

Amid increasing civil unrest, Venezuelan Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino called for political dialogue and “the toning down of harsh and polemical speeches.”
With shortages of basic necessities on the rise, the “lack of security is terrible,” the prelate added, as he expressed concern for prisoners who are opponents of President Nicolas Maduro’s regime.
