Research report sees traffic problems as city of Rome's greatest concern for Jubilee Year

Traffic snarls are the Achilles’ heel of the city of Rome, and the greatest problem for the city in preparing for the Jubilee Year, a research group reports.

A study from CENSIS, an economic-research organization, pointed, to “deficient” public transportation and lengthy commute times as problems facing the overall development of Rome. These problems could be aggravated by the influx of pilgrims expected for the Year of Mercy, the group noted.
