Bishop: shock, fear in Nepal following 2nd earthquake
May 14, 2015
People in Nepal are “stunned” by the second major earthquake in less than two weeks, the nation’s apostolic vicar said in an interview with Catholic News Service.
“They were slowly recovering from the shock and the trauma and (were) trying to restart (their lives),” said Bishop Paul Simick. “Now they have been stunned by this unprecedented quake.”
“The fear is back and everyone is worried about the future,” he added. “Many are sleeping in the open.”
