Make small changes for the good, Pope encourages schoolchildren
May 11, 2015
During a May 11 meeting with about 7,000 schoolchildren, Pope Francis challenged them to make a small change to improved themselves.
“Whenever we do something together, something beautiful, everyone changes,” the Pope said. “Everyone changes—all of us change in some way—and this does us good.”
The Pope met with the young children in the Paul VI auditorium, as part of an initiative by the group Fabbrica della Pace, which seeks to promote world peace by inter-cultural understanding, beginning with education at the primary levels.
The Pope invited questions from the participants, and his answers touched on subjects that ranged from his own childhood, through education, to the difficulties of making peace with enemies.
