Papal telegram to Divine Mercy conference

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, sent a telegram in Pope Francis’s name on April 26 to participants in a conference in Gela, Sicily, devoted to Divine Mercy.
The Pontiff expressed hope that Sicily’s dioceses “will bear witness to the mercy of God revealed in Christ, professing it and embodying it in the lives of pastors and faithful, in the exercise of the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.”
