Pope thanks Papal Foundation for support

Pope Francis received members of the US-based Papal Foundation in audience at the Apostolic Palace on April 17 and encouraged them to transmit “the one, holy, catholic and apostolic faith that comes to us from the apostles.”
The Pontiff thanked the Papal Foundation for its support of various charitable initiatives, particularly the education of seminarians from poor mission dioceses, and expressed hope that during the Jubilee of Mercy, the Foundation’s members experience the “healing and freedom that come from the encounter of forgiveness and gratuitous love offered in the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.”
