The Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, has set new standards for teachers at parochial high schools, matching the standards already in place for elementary-school teachers.
The new rules stipulate that teachers in Catholic schools must not engage in public support for abortion, euthanasia, or same-sex marriage; must not participate in an abortion; must not have sexual relationships outside marriage, and must not use illegal drugs. The standards were accepted by teachers at the give diocesan high schools.

Having known some Catholic lay school teachers, I could wish the list also included support for contraception.

Hard to imagine that this is NEWS! One would think this should have always been routine. Oh well, I'm glad it is now making a comeback. By "it", of course, I refer to logic, reason and basic fundamental Catholicism!
