Kenyan prelate: heighten security, fight radicalization of youth in aftermath of Garissa massacre

Cardinal John Njue of Nairobi has called for stronger security measures in the wake of a terrorist massacre at Garissa University.

In an interview with Vatican Radio, the Kenyan prelate said that political leaders should discuss how they might prevent a repetition of the tragedy in which Islamic zealots gunned down students, specifically targeting Christians. Cardinal Njue said that it would be crucial to dissuade young people from radicalism.
