Head of 'Courage' ministry hopes to have an impact on October Synod discussions

March 24, 2015

The executive director of Courage, the international ministry dedicated to helping people with same-sex attractions to live chaste lives, has said that his group hopes to have an impact on the discussions during the October meeting of the Synod of Bishops.

Since homosexuality is one of the topics that will be under discussion in October, Father Paul Check said that he hopes for an opportunity to present the testimony of people who are struggling to live in accordance with the Church’s teachings. He told the Washington Times: “Our point is just to say ‘There’s a group of people that have a story. Let’s see if we can allow them to tell it.’”
