Pope reportedly meets with Spanish transsexual

January 27, 2015

Pope Francis met privately with a Spanish transsexual who had written to complain about having been banished from his parish church, according to the Spanish daily Hoy.

Diego Neria Lejarraga, who was born as a woman but now seeks to live as a man, reported that Pope Francis had called in December, responding to the plea, and arranged the meeting on January 24.

The Vatican has not commented on the report.

Allegedly the Pope phoned this person and if true, what did he say? There was also some notoriety here since allegedly this person was rebuffed by the local clergy and treated with unkindness.Gender/gay ideology is rampant and is often equated with pastoral care and acceptance. Such ideology is at odds with Catholic teaching. The fact remains this person's chromosomes are XX and the surgery/mutilation immoral as well as this attempted marriage. The implication will be the Pope approves.
