Brazilian priest/doctor says Vatican official misinformed about abortion case
CWN - March 23, 2009
Father Berardo Graz, a Brazilian priest and physician, has said that the president of the Pontifical Academy for Life was misinformed about the controversy case of a 9-year-old girl who received an abortion, promting the excommunication of those involved. "If Archbishop Fisichella had received more correct and detailed information about what happened in the case he would not have written what he wrote," the priest said. Among other things, he noted, the girl's life was not in danger.
