US, European prelates to visit Holy Land

Fifteen bishops from Europe, the United States, and South Africa are making a “visit to the peripheries of the Holy Land” from January 10 to 15, according to the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe.
The bishops will visit Catholic institutions in Gaza, the Cremisan Valley, and Bethlehem and will also, “with a view to understanding the Israeli side of the conflict,” meet with Christians in a city that has suffered Palestinian rocket attacks.
