December 22, 2014
Father Raniero Cantalamessa, the Capuchin Franciscan friar who has served as preacher to the papal household since 1980, reflected on “peace, fruit of the Spirit” in his December 19 Advent sermon to the Pope and the members of the Roman Curia.
The sermon’s four sections were entitled “peace, fruit of the Spirit,” “interior peace in the spiritual tradition of the Church,” “the way of peace,” and “peace because he trusts in you.”
