Jesus is your ‘best friend,’ Pope tells children
December 19, 2014
Pope Francis met with a delegation of children from Italian Catholic Action on December 18 and told them that Jesus is their “best friend.”
The Pontiff offered the young people five pieces of advice: to work together with parents, friends, and others on their spiritual journey; to have concern for the poorest; to love the Church and priests and serve the parish community; to remember that “everything is possible” with God; and to speak with Jesus, one’s best friend, in prayer.
