Philadelphia archdiocese sells 3 properties for $56M

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has sold three properties, including a closed seminary, for $56.2 million.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that proceeds from the sale will help address an $80-million shortfall in the Archdiocesan Trust and Loan Fund and a $76.3-million shortfall in the priests’ pension fund.
