Venezuela: abducted priest found dead

Father Reinaldo Alfonso Herrera Lures, a Venezuelan priest who was kidnapped on September 25, was found dead two days later, according to Diario La Verdad, a newspaper based in Maracaibo, the nation’s 2nd-largest city.

The priest was chancellor of the Diocese of La Guaira and served as a military chaplain, the Fides news agency reported.
