VP Biden sides with nuns in conflict with Vatican

September 18, 2014

US Vice President Joseph Biden inserted himself into a debate over the Vatican-mandated reform of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, as he appeared at an event sponsored by the activist group "Nuns on the Bus."

Identifying himself as "a kid who had 12 years of Catholic education," Biden said that he sided with the nuns, and added that Vatican officials would be wise to do the same. Nuns, he said, "are more popular than everybody else."

Clearly, Biden was educated beyond his capacity in his 12 years in Catholic school.

Now that this great Catholic leader has spoken, there is nothing left to say! I'm sure he speaks in agreement with and with the support of that other great Catholic expert, leader and teacher of the Catholic Faith, Nancy Pelosi. The Pope and the bishops need to heed their words because Jesus put these great Catholics in charge of his Church! The issue seems settled and these "more popular than everybody else" nuns on the bus can now get off the bus and end their journey for justice!
