Russian government announces joint art exhibition with Vatican

President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy on international cultural cooperation has announced that Russia and the Vatican will hold a joint exhibition on biblical art in 2016.

Mikhail Shvydkoy said that Pope Francis and Putin discussed the idea during their November 2013 meeting at the Vatican, the Interfax news agency reported.

    This is another positive sign that Putin is probably more Christian than our own elected President.

    Will any of the gold and jeweled crosses and church art that the Russian government "appropriated" from Ukrainian Catholic churches during the Russian Revolution and after World War II be on display?
