July 17, 2014

Pope Francis will make two quick trips to Caserta, Italy, on July 26 and 28, the Vatican has announced.

On Saturday, July 26, the Pope will travel to Caserta at the invitation of Bishop Giocanni D’Avise, and celebrate Mass in the park of the royal palace in Caserta. He will return to the Vatican that evening.

On Monday, July 28, the Pope will return to the same city, for a meeting with a Protestant community led by his friend, the Rev. Giovanni Traettino.
