Ohio abortion clinic, specializing in late-term procedures, closed per by health regulations

A doctor specializing in late-term abortions has been ordered to shut down his clinic in Ohio because he does not meet state health regulations.

Dr. Martin Haskell had sought an exemption from the regulations, which require him to hold admitting privileges at a local hospital. A magistrate dismissed that plea, and ordered the clinic closed as of July 10.
