Holy See reaches new accord with Serbia on higher education

The Vatican has announced a new accord with the Republic of Serbia, governing cooperation between the government and the Catholic Church in higher education.

The agreement commits Church and state officials to standardize the conditions for the recognition of scholarly degrees and diplomas. The agreement also recognizes the right of the Church to maintain Catholic institutions of higher education, awarding degrees for study in the ecclesiastical disciplines.

    Hopefully there is something in the document about Jesuit schools and the Magisterium, if appropriate.
