Catholic World News - June 25, 2014
A Tanzanian nun was shot and killed during a robbery in Dar es Salaam on June 23, the Fides news service reports.
Sister Clecensia Kapuli had visited a bank in the capital city to withdraw cash in order to pay workers at the school where she served as treasurer. As she left the bank, the car in which she and another woman religious were riding was stopped by armed men. The bandits killed Sister Kapuli and wounded the driver, making off with the payroll money; the other nun escaped.
