June 23, 2014

Police in South Africa have arrested two men suspected of killing an 82-year-old American-born Marianhill missionary, the Fides news agency reports.

Sister Mary Paule Tacke, a native of Idaho, was traveling to an orphanage that she had established when her car was stopped by armed men. Her body was later found in a nearby stream; the exact cause of death is uncertain.

Police chased the stolen car and eventually captured the two suspects.
