Vandals attack Catholic shrine in India

Vandals smashed statues in a display of the Stations of the Cross in Warangal, in India’s Andhra Pradesh state, the AsiaNews service reports.

While priests were absent, the unknown perpetrators smashed cement statues at each of the 14 stations. The Global Council of Indian Christians issued a statement saying that it was “anguished at the desecration.”
