Local Muslims stabbed a guard and threw stones at a church in a village near Bethlehem, according to a report by the Israeli media network Arutz Sheva.
“Seven or eight Christians were injured and some physical damage was done-- broken windows, etc.,” a blogger who has coauthored a book on religious persecution said in describing the May 6 incident. “The police didn’t show up for an hour.”
