Catholic World News - May 22, 2014
The Assembly of the Federation of Catholic Bishops Conferences of Oceania recently met in New Zealand to Pope Francis’s recent apostolic exhortation on the proclamation of the Gospel.
The bishops also discussed secularism and “innovative and effective ways of helping students to pray and to practice their faith,” according to a statement from the Archdiocese of Sydney, and urged the Australian government to provide “a more humane approach to asylum seekers.”
