Conference focuses on exorcism in 21st century
Catholic World News - May 08, 2014
Catholic prelates from 33 countries are participating in an annual seminar on exorcism being held in Italy this week, with events in Rome and Bologna.
Father Cesare Truqui, a priest of the Legion of Christ who is helping to organize the conference, told the ANSA news service that the events will draw on the expertise of psychologists and medical doctors as well as pastors and theologians. He recalled the admonition of Pope Francis in a homily on April 11, that the faithful should “learn to fight the devil…who exists even in the 21st century.”
