Italian Catholic newspaper raps film 'Noah'

April 10, 2014

An Italian Catholic newspaper has criticized the film Noah as "ecologically and vaguely New Age," saying that the movie misses the specifically religious theme of the Biblical story.

Avvenire is a newspaper owned by the Italian bishops' conference. The paper has no direct affiliation with the Vatican, and the review cannot be taken as an authoritative judgment by the Catholic Church.
