The Vatican will host a conference on efforts to combat human trafficking, to take place at the Academy of Science on April 9 and 10.
The conference, chaired by Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster, will hear from victims of human trafficking as well as law-enforcement experts. The goal of the session is to promote cooperation between police and the Church. Participants will meet with Pope Francis in a private audience at the close of the conference.
