Prayer hall attacked in Orissa
March 04, 2014
Armed forces have been deployed in Odisha, the eastern Indian state formerly known as Orissa, following an attack on a Christian prayer hall that was under construction.
The assailants also threatened the construction workers and their families, the Hindustan Times reported.
Orissa was the site of a 2008 anti-Christian pogrom that left over 50 dead and led 50,000 to flee their homes.
