Israeli Christians, Muslims condemn blasphemous TV routine

Christian leaders in Israel have denounced the broadcast of a television program in which comedian Lior Shlein lampooned Jesus and the Virgin Mary, with some angry protestors suggesting that Pope Benedict XVI should cancel his planned trip to the Holy Land because of the show. Muslim leaders, who revere Jesus as a prophet, joined in the demands for an apology.
