Police in India have named a Catholic priest as their main suspect in a 2010 murder case.
Father Mathukutty Munnattumugham is suspected of killing a 12-year-old girl whose body was found in a pond at the retreat center where he served. Police say that the priest’s fingerprints were found at the scene of the crime.
Father Munnattumugham no longer works at the retreat center in the state of Kerala. Church officials declined to identify the parish where he now serves.
