Court orders St. Louis archdiocese to turn over names of accused clergy

February 12, 2014

The Missouri Supreme Court has ordered the Archdiocese of St. Louis to turn over the names of all clergy accused of sexual abuse of minors during a two-decade period ending in 2003.

The names of the clergy will remain sealed.

The court also ordered the archdiocese to turn over contact information of those who reported the alleged abuse, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The court’s order comes in the midst of a civil suit against the archdiocese.
