Cameroon, Holy See make new diplomatic pact

The Vatican has reached a new diplomatic accord with Cameroon, governing the status of the Church in the African country.
The agreement, establishing a framework for Church-state relations, was signed on January 13 by Archbishop Piero Pioppo, the apostolic nuncio to Cameroon, and Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo, the country’s foreign minister.
