Christian boy tortured, killed in India

December 05, 2013

A seven-year-old Christian boy was brutally tortured and killed in a village in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan, according to Morning Star News, which reports on the persecution of Christians, and the Fides news agency.

Hindu extremists are suspected in the attacks.

“For the ten years I have been a Christian, some local Hindu extremists have threatened to kill me and harm my family countless times,” the boy’s father said. “I have repeatedly mentioned the names of these people who constantly threatened to take my life and my family in connection to my son’s death to the police, but sadly they are not paying heed to my suggestions.”

Several Christian organizations, including a lay Catholic organization, have begun a campaign to prod the police to launch a serious investigation.

That Christian suffering is being diluted to the point of merely being "inhumane" is a sad thing. The Devil hates us because we love Him. This is a peculiar and a very particular hatred, which we Christians in the modern era do not seem to be very open to accept.
