Catholic World News - November 26, 2013
Islamist militants attacked and occupied the predominantly Christian city of Deir Atiyah, destroyed its archeological museum, took hospital patients hostage, and have begun to detain Christians, the Fides news agency reported.
Fides cited the testimony of a Greek Orthodox priest who fled the city, which is located in western Syria near the Lebanese border.
