New York mayor-elect includes clergy, but not Catholic priest, on transition team
Catholic World News - November 22, 2013
New York’s Mayor-elect Bill De Blasio has assembled a transition team that includes two Jewish rabbis, two Protestant ministers, and a Muslim imam, but no Catholic priests.
Bill Donohue, the head of the Catholic League, saw the omission of Catholic clergy as an affront. “De Blasio hasn’t even begun, yet he has managed to insult a majority of New Yorkers,” he said.
