Papal condolences for flood victims in Sardinia

Pope Francis has sent his condolences and promised his prayers to the victims of flooding in Sardinia.

In a telegram message to Archbishop Arrigo Miglio of Cagliari, the president of the Sardinian bishops’ conference, the Pontiff said that he had learned “with great sadness” of the deadly and damaging floods, and promised “his special prayers for those who have lost their lives and for all those affected by this grave disaster.”
