Evangelical, Catholic legal scholars issue joint statement on the law

29 evangelical and Catholic legal scholars have published “Evangelicals and Catholics Together on the Law: The Lord of Heaven and Earth.”

“We affirm that justice requires respect for the equal dignity of every person, for human life from conception until natural death, for the integrity of marriage and the family, for freedom of conscience, for the liberty of the Church,” the scholars said in their statement, which was published in the Journal of Christian Legal Studies.
