Pope's prayer intentions for August 2013

The Vatican has announced the prayer intentions of Pope Francis for August 2013.

The Pope's general intention is: That parents and teachers may help the new generation to grow in upright conscience and life.

His missionary intention is: That the local Church in Africa, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel, may promote peace and justice.
